I am no chemist and although did work at electroplating plant, was working with zinc. I don’t know nickel plating process. The tabs i got from plating were looking very attractive. All mirror like finish and all that, but i broke tabs just by bending them 90 degrees which is required to make N.E.S.E module. After electroplating they became very brittle, almost like tungsten.

Waiting for 200 pieces of tabs to be completed and will try tin plating as this what most do in electrical components. Nissan Leaf bus bars are tin plated, ring terminals come tin plated so thought i will not miss going this way and the process is  cold so no tempering should appear.
