Material guide

Here is a list of materials recommended for printing enclosures using FDM printer

PETG (Polyethylene terephthalate) is all round winner. It prints almost as easy as PLA. It is strong and has working temperature of up to 80C.

ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is good thermoplastic used everywhere. It is strong, has good working temperature of up to 90C. It is although harder to print. Needs enclosure to print reliably, warps, shrinks upon cool down. For printing enclosures you need to scale model to 101% to allow for shrinkage.

PC (Polycarbonates) Strongest of the three. It also has highest working temperature of 130C. It does require enclosure for printing. It warps even more than ABS. It also requires a printer hotend to work in around 300C+ and heatbed  to heat up up to at least 110C. probably most expensive of the three.
